Elementary Education

Elementary Education candidates may earn the Master of Science degree. Initial certification is a requirement for admission.

Each candidate seeking a Master of Science degree in Elementary Education will choose an area of concentration in a special field which will provide depth in an area of his/her interest. Courses within the concentrations will be decided upon in conference with the student’s advisor. Possible concentrations include: Bilingual Education, Early Childhood Education, ESL, Improvement of Instruction, Inclusionary Practices, Literacy, School Library, STEM, and Urban Schools.

Endorsement options: Bilingual Education, ESL, Early Childhood, or School Library.
