Teacher Education Graduate Programs
ESL/ELL Endorsement
Teachers who are interested in working with English Language Learners in their classrooms or as a resource teacher for ELL students can choose this endorsement program. An ESL/ELL endorsement requires a minimum of 15-semester hours course work in English as a Second Language: Foundations of ESL; Cross-Cultural Communication or Language, Culture, and Power; Methods in English as a Second Language; and advisor-approved electives. Applicants must have a valid teaching certificate to be eligible for the added teaching endorsement. A supervised practicum is also required.This endorsement program can be incorporated into Master's degrees in teacher education. Contact your advisor for possibilities.
