Candidates interested in teaching in the area of special education can select one of the following programs:

Dual endorsement with Elementary Education:

Education of the Deaf /Hard of Hearing K-9

Designed for those preparing to teach students who are deaf /hard of hearing in grades K-9.

Mild/Moderate Disabilities (K-9)

Designed for those preparing to teach students with mild or moderate special needs in grades K-9.

American Sign Language K-9

Designed to prepare elementay education candidates to teach American Sign Language.

Designed for those preparing to teach students who are deaf /hard of hearing in grades 7-12.
