MacAllister Scholars in Education Program

As a way of encouraging more minority students to embark on teaching careers the MacAllister Scholars in Education Program annually awards scholarships to undergraduates and graduates presently enrolled in or about to enter the college. Individuals selected as MacAllister Scholars receive funds that may be applied to tuition, fees, and books and have access to a wide range of support services. Scholars who continue meeting the program's qualifications may have their scholarship renewed throughout their academic career. One of the program's unique features is that it includes a service/leadership development component. A minimum of 75 percent of the scholarships is given to students of color each year.
