The annual Recruiting for Diversity in Teacher Education Workshop is geared to area high school students of color who are considering education careers. The day is filled with activities and speakers that familiarize students with some basic facts about the college and the field, including admission requirements, financial aid availability, student support services, and the need for more minority educators. Parents of students are also invited to attend the event.
