Celebrating Culture and Tradition with Music and Story
Dennis Warner, Rita Paskowitz, Sheila Rocha, and Idu Maduli joined us during October of 2008 to promote the roles that oral traditions (of storytelling and singing) play in literacy learning for young children. The artists visited 9 school districts (15 sites) as a gift from the UNO College of Education in celebration of our Centennial Year as a University.
