Building a Partnership

The University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Education began a campaign to create a collaborative partnership that promotes family literacy among organizations serving children and their families in the Omaha area. Our partners are committed to promoting family literacy in Omaha, particularly among families of young children (birth through age eight).

In 2007, faculty at the University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Education worked with partners to write grants, collaboratively funding nationally-known Latino authors to work and conduct presentations in Omaha Public Schools and in the Omaha community during the 2007-2008 school year.
