The purpose of the Omaha Family Literacy Partnership is to promote joyful reading among children and their families in the Omaha community. Our collaborative organization is located at the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s College of Education. We serve as an entity for community service outreach for UNO College of Education faculty, staff, and students.

Partners in the Omaha Family Literacy Partnership include the UNO College of Education, Joslyn Art Museum, El Museo Latino, Henry Doorly Zoo, Omaha Public Library, Omaha Children’s Museum, the Omaha Public School District, and others. We welcome new partners who share our vision and goal of creating a culture of literacy among families of young children in the Omaha community.
