- Physical Education Teacher Prep
- Teach physical education in elementary and/or secondary schools
- Coaching endorsement and/or adapted physical education endorsement also available
- Exercise Science
- assume positions as fitness or health promotion directors and exercise consultants in private or public agencies, health centers, cardiac rehabilitation programs
- Athletic Training
- prepare students for a career in athletic training
- provides the eligibility to sit for the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification examination
Graduate Program
- Pedagogy and Coaching
- Pedagogy - designed for the physical education student who is interested in studying teacher effectiveness research, instructional strategies, and curriculum issues.
- Coaching - designed for those who coach and are interested in coachin effectiveness research, psychological and sociological principles as they relate to sport, and selected topis in sports medicine
- Exercise Science
- Without Internship - designed for the allied health professional who does not intend to change careers as a a result of this degree
- With Internship - aimed at students desiring practical experience necessary to change careers
- Athletic Training
- Entry-level or pre-certification concentration
- Not intended for students with an undergraduate degree in athletic training
- Full-time graduate program and requires considerable clinical experience as part of the requirements
- Fitness and Wellness Management
- Well prepared for management positions in worksite health promotion
- Also well prepared for management positions in community, private, and clinical settings such as YMCAs/YWCAs, health/fitness clubs and hospital health/fitness programs
