Student Scholarships
and Award

The process of selecting students from the various HPER programs and concentrations for awards and scholarships begins each year in October. Students are notified in their classes and by UNO email about the application process and given a web site to find additional information and application forms.The deadline for applications is November 1st each year. Over the first few months of the Spring semester the faculty reviews all applications and make their selections. Once selections have been made, students are notified of their awards(s). The awards are presented to the students each Spring in late April at the annual Honors Award Banquet, a highlight of the HPER School year, with dinner, entertainment and finally, award presentations.

All HPER students are invited to the banquet as a final celebration of the school year. This year, as last year, there was also a "Silent Auction" at the Honors Banquet festivities.
