Eta Sigma Gamma's
13th Annual Bell Tower Challenge
October 18, 2006

at High Noon at the Henningson Campanile

Eta Sigma Gamma, a health education honorary at UNO, sponsored the 13th annual Bell Tower Challenge Wednesday, Oct. 18, at high noon beneath the Henningson Campanile on the UNO campus. More than 36,669 pounds of food have been collected for the Omaha Food Bank since the event’s inception.



Teams of three people each were asked to stack food cans while the bells toll at noon.

The AFROTC Wolf Pack won first place in the student division for the most cans stacked and the most enthusiastic. MATS (Athletic Trainers) won the most creative award. The National Student Speech Language & Hearing Association (NSSLHA) got second place in the most cans stacked and second most creative categories. Chi Epsilon received an honorable mention.

In the faculty/staff division Faculty Senate won the Most cans tacked, Maverick Mojo (University Relations) won the most enthusiastic and CRAB (Campus Recreation) won the most creative.
