The Master of Public Health (MPH) program is a collaboration between the Omaha and Medical Center campuses of the University of Nebraska. The UNMC/UNO Master of Public Health Program is a specialized professional masters degree program designed to prepare graduates for work in public health. Material in core and elective courses will pay particular attention to health status, health outcomes, and health needs in special populations (e.g., racial and ethnic minorities, children, women). The goal of this orientation is to equip program graduates to address society's public health needs. For more information on the Master of Public Health (MPH) program, you can visit the MPH website.

The HED Graduate Program prepares the graduate student for mid-level positions with agencies and organizations whose mission is to improve health of the public through education and advocacy. Often students in the Graduate Program are employed in the health field when they enter the program.
