Counseling is the art and science of helping people grow and develop throughout their lifespan. Graduate students develop knowledge and skills to support people in various stages, challenges, and transitions in life. It may be just the program for you. The program provides an integrative approach to counseling that acknowledges the interdependence of teaching, theory, research, evaluation, and practice. The Community and School Counseling programs are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). CACREP is the accrediting body of the American Counseling Association and is evidence of an attitude and philosophy that program excellence is a fundamental goal. |
